Ust-Srednekanskaya HPP, block 3, 142,5 MW
Ust-Srednekanskaya Hydro Power Plant, plant unit 3, 142, 5 MW.
In April 2019, the 3rd hydro generator is scheduled to be commissioned.
Pursuant to the project, ‘Siloviye Mashiny’, PJSC supplied a 142.5 MW hydro turbine, a generator equipped with an excitation system as well as the hydroelectric unit local control system.
The construction was carried out in harsh weather conditions in a region with permafrost, the depth of which is about 300 m (except for underflow subgelisol areas). It is a region of severe continental climate with the mean January temperature of −38°С, the absolute minimum temperature of −62°С and the mean annual temperature of −12°С.
Completion of the power plant will make realization of large-scale infrastructure projects in the Magadan region and the Chukotka AO possible as well as it will encourage waterborne traffic by regulating the Kolyma river flow.
Following types of CuprAl Bridge-branded equipment was used for this project:
- TENE-20-8000-300 NF1 — 230 linear m
- TENE-20-1600-560 NF1 — 140 linear m
- TZKR-10-1600-128 NF1 — 85 linear m
- TZK-6-1600-81 NF1 — 16 linear m
The overall total of isolated phase buses produced and installed is 471 linear meters.
