CuprAIBridge Company offers a wide selection of bus ducts and bus bars for voltages of 0.4 -35 kV, currents of 630 to 33,000 A, with air, cast or solid insulation, for indoor or outdoor use, at the temperature from -60 to +50 degrees С. Protection degree of bus ducts is from IP 41 to IP 67.
GenAir – Isolated Phase Bus Ducts (IPB) for generator voltages of 6.3; 11; 15 and 20 kV, nominal current from 1,600 to 20,000 A.
MidCura – round Segregated Phase Bus Ducts (hereinafter referred to as SPB), voltage up to 15 kV, nominal current up to 5,000 A
JunCura — rectangular or round section bus bar with air or solid insulation, voltage 0.4 kV, nominal current – 1,600 to 5,000 A.
Bus ducts are resistant to electrodynamic and thermal impacts. Mention can be made of the following key advantages of air bus ducts that we make:
- small overall dimensions;
- short circuits are totally excluded;
- partial discharge intensity is minimized;
- easy to install;
- natural (air) cooling;
- minimum power losses, which we have calculated for you using the dedicated Ekran 2 software;
- running costs are minimized;
- degree of protection against external impacts is equal to IP55;
- high fire safety.
Indisputable advantages of bus ducts:
- space optimization. Bus ducts are connected using special modules; rotation is possible at any angle within the gage of bus duct;
- easy planning and design;
- cheaper and faster installation;
- high level of electrical safety;
- long service life and easy to use: bus ducts are in use 50 years and longer!
Operating conditions of bus ducts
As regards mechanical and environmental impacts, bus ducts meet the following GOST standards: GOST 15150-69, GOST 15151-69, GOST 15543.1-89, and GOST 17516.1-90. Protection degrees of bus ducts are IP54 and IP55 as per GOST 14524.
Seismic resistant bus ducts are functional under seismic impacts up to 9 points according to MSK-64 if installed at elevation of maximum 25 m.
Reliability conditions
Protection degrees of bus ducts are IP54 for indoor installations and IP55 for outdoor installations as per GOST 14254-96.
All types of bus ducts feature natural air cooling.
Marking of bus ducts
One of the modules (sections) at connection points to generators, transformers, distribution cabinets, or in any other position specified in the technical documentation bears a data shield with the following information:
- trade mark of the manufacturing plant;
- mark of compliance;
- conventional designation of the product;
- designation of technical conditions;
- rated voltage;
- rated current;
- protection degree as per GOST 14254-96;
- factory number of the order;
- year of manufacture.
Data shields of bus ducts designed for nuclear stations must bear the phrase ‘для АЭС’ (‘for nuclear power plants’), and in case of export supply – ‘Сделано в России’ (‘made in Russia’).
Scope of supply of bus ducts
The set of each bus duct includes following:
- elements set forth in the assembly drawing of the route or in the bill of material of the specific order;
- spare parts, tools and accessories according to the SPTA sheet.
- Accompanying documents for conductors and bus ducts includes following:
- bill of material;
- a set of assembly drawings for routes of bus ducts;
- operation manual;
- SPTA sheet;
- data sheet (1 copy).
Warranty period for bus ducts
Warranty period is 3 years after putting into operation, or 3.5 years after the date of manufacturing. Manufacturer’s warranty for bus ducts to be exported is 1 year after putting into operation and 2 years after crossing the state border of Russia.
